Day 1

Arrival – Laodicea & Hierapolis

Arrive at Denizli Airport. Visit Laodicea — the lukewarm church (Rev 3:14-22). Walk through the extensive excavations including the stadium, churches, and ancient water system that made the water "lukewarm." Continue to Hierapolis (Pamukkale) where Apostle Philip was martyred. See the white terraces and Philip's martyrium.

Philadelphia & Sardis

Day 2

Philadelphia & Sardis

Visit Philadelphia (Alaşehir) — the faithful church given an "open door" (Rev 3:7-13). See the Byzantine basilica ruins. Continue to Sardis — the church that was "dead" (Rev 3:1-6). Explore the magnificent Temple of Artemis, the restored gymnasium, and the ancient synagogue.

Thyatira & Pergamon

Day 3

Thyatira & Pergamon

Visit Thyatira (Akhisar) — home of Lydia, seller of purple (Rev 2:18-29). See the colonnaded street and basilica remains. Travel to Pergamon — where "Satan's throne" was (Rev 2:12-17). Ascend the spectacular acropolis to see the theater, altar of Zeus, library, and Trajan Temple.

Day 4

Smyrna

Visit Smyrna (İzmir) — the suffering church that received no rebuke (Rev 2:8-11). See the ancient agora and learn about Polycarp, disciple of John, who was martyred here. Visit the traditional site of Polycarp's martyrdom. Afternoon free to explore İzmir's vibrant waterfront.

Ephesus – Full Day

Ephesus – Full Day

The crown jewel: Ephesus — the church that lost its first love (Rev 2:1-7). Walk the marble streets, see the Library of Celsus, the Great Theater (Acts 19). Visit the Basilica of St. John — burial site of the Apostle John. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary on Mount Koressos. Evening worship and reflection.

Day 6

Departure

Morning visit to the Cave of the Seven Sleepers. Transfer to İzmir Airport for departure. Carry Christ's messages to the Seven Churches in your heart as you return home renewed.
